1. The Student Mobility Program of the Zicosur University Network promotes the cooperation and integration of the Universities that comprise it, as well as the internationalization of Higher Education in the Region, through the mobility of regular students of careers in degree to study at another university in the Network, recognition of the academic activity carried out.

2. Student mobility is a strategic element since it seeks to create a common academic and intercultural space in the region to contribute to the exchange of knowledge and experiences within the countries that make up the Network. It will favor the comprehensive training of students through the experience and contact with other cultures and societies. In addition, it promotes institutional strengthening through the expansion of international and institutional ties.

Objectives of the Program

• Promote the process of building a common educational space through student mobility.
• Promote academic and cultural exchange, as well as a better knowledge of the diversity and particularities of the different higher education systems installed.
• Promote regional integration at the university higher education level.
• Contribute to the development of an international experience to enrich the training of students, as well as institutional strengthening, through the establishment of strategic alliances and the development of exchange activities between the universities of the Zicosur Network.
• Contribute to deepen the links between the teachers participating in the academic coordination of the Program, the basis for the undertaking of new cooperation initiatives for the better development of higher education in the region.
• To stimulate inter-institutional and international cooperation in the field of ZICOSUR member universities.

The ESCALA ESTUDIANTIL Program of AUGM promotes cooperation and integration among the universities that make it up, as well as the internationalization of higher education in the region, through the promotion of mobility for regular graduation students to study an academic period at another university in the Association with full recognition of the academic activity carried out.

Program Objectives

• To promote and strengthen the process of building a common regional academic space through student mobility, with the conviction that through interaction and coexistence among students and teachers from different universities and countries, not only academic and cultural exchange will be promoted, but also a better understanding of the diversity and particularities of the different higher education systems installed.
• To promote regional integration at the level of university higher education
• To contribute to the internationalization of higher education in the region, through the construction of an expanded and international space for mobility and exchange
• To contribute to the development of an international experience to enrich the training of students, as well as institutional strengthening, through the establishment of strategic alliances and the development of exchange activities between the universities of AUGM.
• To deepen the links between participating teachers in the academic coordination of the Program, the basis for the undertaking of new cooperation initiatives for the better development of higher education in the region.
• The Program allows students regularly enrolled in careers and degrees at a university in the Group to take part of their studies, during a semester, at another university in a country different from their residence, with the guarantee, emanating from the university of origin, that full academic recognition of the studies taken at the destination university will be granted, as a concrete and equivalent advance in the curriculum of their own career.

The Student Mobility Program of CRISCOS (PME) aims to:

a. Facilitate students from one university in the sub-region to carry out part of their studies at another university in the sub-region, as a concrete way of contributing to regional integration.

b. Establish student mobility (excluding specialization, masters and doctoral students) among the universities of the countries that make up the Council of Rectors.

c. Create the foundation for establishing an effective linkage with other regional inter-university organizations that offer joint work alternatives.

d. Serve as an instrument of inter-university cooperation of CRISCOS, conceived as part of a process through which universities in the sub-region seek to overcome existing asymmetries in a framework of complementation and integration that contributes to global development.
